Delegation Led by Viladimir Shaplov, Director of Department of International Cooperation

On October 2nd, Vice Pesident Xu Fang met with a delegation led by Viladimir Shaplov, director of Department of International Cooperation, Administration of Education of the Republic of Belarus. The two sides held talks on promoting cooperation and exchanges between CUEB and Belarusian universities, and on advancing teaching and academic research cooperation with universities of finance and economics in Belarus.

Xu Fang extended sincere welcome to the delegation and made a brief introduction of CUEB. Xu pointed out that Belarus was one of China’s long-term strategic partners and China has attached great importance to the mutual cooperation in many fields, regarding economy, education and culture. As a municipal key university of Beijing, CUEB was looking forward to a friendly cooperative relationship with Belarusian State Universityand universities of finance and economics. She also welcomed students from Belarus to study at CUEB.

Viladimir Shaplov added that cooperation and exchanges concerning students, faculty and scientific research among others with CUEB was highly expected. He also invited CUEB’s delegation to visit Belarus universities and proclaimed that Administration of Education of the Republic of Belarus would back up the comprehensive cooperation, and he was confident that fruitful results would be achieved.
