CUEB Academy of Metropolis Economic and Social Development Holds Symposium

On October 12th, Wu Xiaohua，Vice President of Academy of Macroeconomic Research (AMR), NDRC, Gao Guoli, Director of Department of Research Planning and Management, and Chang Zexiu, former Deputy Director of Institute of Economic Research, visited CUEB for the investigation on collaborative innovation in metropolis research, and they also had an in-depth communication with related departments of CUEB.

Vice President Wang Wenju chaired the symposium. Wang Jiaqiong, CUEB President and Dean of CUEB Academy of Metropolis Economic and Social Development (AMESD), delivered a keynote speech, in which he expressed warm welcome to the delegation, introduced high-end talents development, disciplines construction, think-tank development, research outcomes and other issues based on the education philosophy of “mind the world, down to earth”, and pointed out that CUEB would prioritize and support the all-round cooperation with NDRC, especially that with AMR. Duan Xia, Executive Vice President of CUEB AMESD, briefly introduced AMESD, highlighting its research features, team-building, cooperation on collaborative innovation with other organizations and the cooperation plan with AMR in the next step.
